At Good Property Co. we specialise in housing facilitation, not property development.

We help fellow humans explore, plan and bring their housing projects to life without the process feeling overwhelming or out of reach. Whether it’s finding a suitable block of land, understanding the potential of an existing dwelling, or navigating the many steps required to build or renovate a home, we help untangle the process, strategise on the hurdles and guide it forward.

The Southern Beaches region of Hobart is a special place to live — but building here can come with unique challenges. Off-grid considerations, wastewater requirements, environmental factors, and planning compliance can make the process more complex than you would expect. Over time we’ve become area specialists and have learned how to work through these hurdles and “unpick the knot” so projects can move forward smoothly.

Because we’ve experienced the same pressures that many families face, we’re also very open to exploring less conventional housing pathways. Sometimes creating a family home in this area requires thinking differently — and we enjoy helping people uncover options they may not have realised were possible.

Our work with you often starts with an open conversation to understand and outline your housing objectives. This can be followed with any of the following services:

To make this possible we work with a trusted network of local professionals who help bring each project together, including land surveyors, geotechnical engineers, wastewater designers, building designers and architects, engineers, building surveyors, energy assessors, licensed builders, and all the skilled trades needed to create a finished home.

At the centre of what we do is a simple idea: housing should be demystified. It should be accessible, understandable, and collaborative. That’s why we offer three ways of working together:

    •    Done By You – where we coach and support you to manage your own project with confidence.

    •    Done With You – where we work alongside you and share the project management responsibilities.

    •    Done For You – where we manage the process end-to-end on your behalf.
